James Adam "Jim" Stevenson (born 17 May 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Aldershot Town.
==Career==
Born in Harrogate, Stevenson started his career in the youth system at Histon, signing for the club at the age of 15. His debut for the club came in August 2010, at the age of 18, in a 2–0 defeat to AFC Wimbledon, replacing Callum Stewart as a substitute.〔 He remained a regular for the side throughout the 2010–11 season, however, he could not save the club from relegation to the Conference North. He featured in every league match during the 2011–12 season for Histon, and finished as top goalscorer with 11 goals in his final season with the club.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 url = http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/histonfootballclub/s/the-team-73889.html?player_id=732085 )〕 In total he made 121 appearances for the club scoring 16 goals.〔
In May 2013, Conference Premier side Luton Town announced that they would sign Stevenson in July 2013 on a free transfer on a two-year contract following the expiration of his contract with Histon. He made his debut for the Hatters in September 2013 in a 0–0 draw with Grimsby Town.〔 He failed to establish himself in the side and in November 2013 he joined fellow Conference Premier side Dartford on loan until January. He instantly secured a first-team place as the Darts struggled towards the bottom of the table. In January 2015, his loan was extended until the end of the season. Despite his prolonged stay with the club, Dartford finished in the relegation places and Stevenson returned to newly promoted Luton in April 2014, having made 25 appearances and scoring once.〔
Stevenson made his Football League debut in August 2014, as Luton beat Carlisle United 1–0 when he replaced Andy Drury as a substitute.〔 In October 2014 he scored his first Football League goal in a 2–1 win over Hartlepool United.
In January 2015, he was again sent out on loan, joining Conference Premier side Aldershot Town on a one-month loan. 〔 After making four appearances for the Shots his loan was extended in February 2015 until the end of the season. In May 2015 it was announced that Stevenson's contract would not be renewed, and he was subsequently released by Luton. He then signed a one-year contract with Aldershot.
